we have recently completed the development application for this large family house in queensland. the design comprises of a large ground floor living / kitchen area opening out to the garden and pool with a more intimate sleeping area on the first floor which, also includes an open air courtyard. A CNC cut timber facade on the front entry folds from closed to open, creating a sliding pocket to which entry into the house is gained.
